These SMS / Text Messaging Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your participation in the text messaging program operated by Boston Tree Preservation (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By opting in to receive text messages from us, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy (https://www.bostontreepreservation.com/privacy-policy).

1. Program Description

When you opt in, you agree to receive recurring text messages from Boston Tree Preservation relating to the services you have requested. Messages may include:

•      Appointment and service scheduling and reminders

•      Service, delivery, and arrival notifications

•      Service updates and customer-care messages

•      Billing and account notices

•      Promotional offers about our services, where you have separately agreed to receive them

2. Opt-In and Consent

You may opt in to the messaging program by providing your mobile number and agreeing to receive text messages — for example, through a form on our website, in writing, verbally, or by texting us first. By opting in, you confirm that you are the account holder for, or are authorized to provide consent for, the mobile number you provide, and that the number is accurate.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us and the services you have requested.

4. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Any charges for text messages are billed by, and payable to, your mobile service provider. We are not responsible for charges imposed by your carrier.

5. Opt-Out (STOP)

You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send STOP, we will send you a one-time confirmation message, and you will no longer receive text messages from us unless you opt in again.

7. Supported Carriers and Delivery

Supported carriers include major U.S. wireless carriers (for example, AT&T, Verizon Wireless, and T-Mobile) and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on transmission by your carrier and is outside our control.

8. Privacy

We respect your privacy. Your mobile information — including your phone number and your SMS opt-in or consent — is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and is not shared with, sold to, or disclosed to any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes. 9. Eligibility

The messaging program is intended for residents of the United States who are at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in their jurisdiction.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and post the updated Terms on our website. Your continued participation in the messaging program after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
